DEB DICKER Deb was raised in Thorndale Ontario and enjoys spending time in the country. She studied photography at Fanshawe but was prompted to start painting. She loves having conversations about her art, angels, people, photography, her children and dog. |
JOEL BERRY Joel is always experimenting with new techniques, bringing together diverse mediums from digital media to photography to painting. He plays with perspective in 2D spaces and is always pushing the boundaries of perspective. |

JOSEPH SAWICKI Joseph is an artist who works in many mediums from large sculptures to murals in oil. His focus has been on ceramics such as glazed plates and bowls with colourful abstract arrangements. He has just moved to Sparta where he opened an art gallery called gathered. |
MARY TUFF All Mary's work is diverse without any unifying theme. She works primarily in watercolour and photography. She has presented at various shows and is a member of the local St. Thomas Artists' Guild. |
VICKI DOWN Vicki has developed her own way of recycling and painting glass objects. She uses glass vases, candle holders, plates and more with alcohol ink to create one-of-a-kind pieces. YWCA INTERACTIVES "Canada Through My Lens" photo exhibit is a story of the local immigrant experience as told by those who rarely get to do so: immigrants themselves. "The Living Library" challenges stereotypes about marginalized groups through interaction with real people. |
ZAYDEN WARD I'm 8 years old and I like to paint. One of the ways I paint I call universe wars. One person can squirt circles and swirls like planets and the other person attacks them with a different kind of paint to explode it. It's like space. I like Mars because it's the spicy planet. |

SARAH VAN PELT Sarah enjoys many mediums with her current focus on building miniature dioramas. She has always loved the world in miniature, appreciating the sense of delight & mystery. She sometimes hides her dioramas around St. Thomas for the unsuspecting viewer to find. |

AMANDA CALDWELL Amanda is a printmaking artist, creating multi-colour, lino-print landscapes that preserve the beauty of nature. She is a graduate of Western University, and has shown work in various outdoor art festivals, group shows, and galleries throughout southwestern Ontario. |
BONNIE MCLEAN Bonnie has been creating mixed-media most of her life but enjoys creating the art doll as it brings together all her skills, each doll coming to life as she selects materials. She draws from a wide variety of skills with imagination being her most important asset. |
CHANTELLE CRESSMAN Chantelle began painting 5 years ago and enjoys experimenting with mixed media and book art. For her, art is a form of expression and communication as well as coping and healing. Art without words provides a means of reaching others on a different plane of expression. |

BEN VANDEVOOREN Ben is an emerging self taught artist from Sparta. He works at McBain Signs and has been developing his personal practice for 5 years. He is passionate about graffiti art, tattoo art and animation, and draws and paints in a style influenced by these styles in particular. |

ELIZABETH KUSINSKI Elizabeth is a self taught painter of twenty+ years. She works exclusively in oil as the colours and textures allow her to capture the complexity of light and dark. She believes that to truly bring a painting to life it has to capture the viewer's interest quickly and then draw them in. |
IRVIN LOEWEN Irvin enjoys creating realistic scenes mixed with abstract landscapes and adventuring characters. He will sketch his ideas first before creating a final piece burning onto a skateboard or snowboard as his canvas in addition to traditional canvas. |
KATELYN TIPPIN Katelyn was raised in St. Thomas and graduated from Fine Arts at Western University. The majority of her works consist of paintings and printmaking. Her imagery ranges from playful representations of wildlife to portraiture, archery and a love of vintage objects. |

TAMARA DAVID Tamara treats clay as her canvas. She creates functional ware rather than sculptural works as she has a desire for the items to be of use, rather than a static object that sits on a table, but still holds some deeper meaning and adds beauty to the lives of the people who use them. |

BILL VEEKEN Bill was born in Wallaceburg, Ont. He is indebted to Watercolour Artist Jennifer Cameron, from Kitchener, who has given him lessons and an appreciation for painting en plein. Bill is retired and presently lives in St. Thomas, Ont. |
CHERYL GARRETT JENKINS A marine engineer by trade, Cheryl became interested in glass art 30 years ago. Her art pieces are made from unique patterns created from things seen in life and imagination. Some of her more popular works include personalized glass art, sci-fi & fantasy pieces, and Celtic designs. |
DANIEL BRASSARD Portraits, watercolour, pencil, Ink, acrylics, pastels: Dan has a flare for capturing the life of his subject. This Quebec native has been featured in English and French magazines, galleries, art conventions and exhibits. Dan teaches art workshops in his St. Thomas studio. |
JUDY ROSS From an early age, Judy felt the desire to create in various mediums; be it by creative writing, sewing, photography or painting. Primarily self-taught, Judy has also received fine art instruction from local accomplished artists in watercolour, oil and acrylic medium. |
SHARON BRASSARD Sharon has been sculpting and teaching for 20+ years. Her work is featured on YouTube and in Art Doll Quarterly. Although her mediums vary from clay to fibre to paper; she never uses a mold or cast; her work is one-of-a-kind. Sharon offers workshops in her St. Thomas Studio. |

SANDRA POCZOBUT “Installation art enables me to work beyond the limitations of one-dimensional media. Many of the pieces I produce are collaborative – they often involve the participation of various communities. Through my installation and performance I aim to interact with the world, and encourage viewers to examine things through a lens outside their own.” STEAM CENTRE LIGHTS When the sun goes down the public can control and change the colours of the 9 north facing windows by tweeting the window number (1-9) and colour to @STEAMCLights. The LED lights are connected to an arduino and interface with Twitter enabling anyone from any location to participate! |

ANNE SLOBODA Anne's first 25 years as a designer were spent working in silkscreen so she tends to use bright colours and works with pattern. Working in acrylic allows a looser approach to imagery and the messiness of visible brush stroke is starting to creep in adding complexity to the colour. |
BRIAN BOHNERT Brian works in several disciplines and moves between them as his mood strikes. He currently makes art strictly for pleasure, so themes and motifs tend to vary widely. |
JANICE MARRIOTT Janice developed an interest in art at an early age. She is self taught & learning as she experiments with colour and form. She sees beauty in her surroundings. In 2009 she was chosen as a featured artist at the Appreciation of The Arts in St. Thomas. |

RENNE BENOIT Renne has been doing children's book illustration for 20 years. As her kids get older, she is finding more time to do other types of painting - botanicals and landscapes. Like many artists, she is fueled by the combination of light and colour, and inspired by story and emotion. |
EMILY-JANE BRETT Emily-Jane is drawn to depicting all things nature in her artworks and loves to reflect the realistic beauty in any subject. As she pursues Art Therapy, she hopes to see visual art help people in a very practical and personal way. |
STEVE FRYER Steve's career as a Technical Illustrator can be seen in his art as he strives for technical accuracy in each of his pieces. In 2006, Steve started to draw portraits using his daughter to practice and learn. Steve uses his craft as therapy and says that he does it for no other reason than it is good for his soul. |
AGANETHA SAWATZKY Aganetha creates art in many mediums including poured acrylic and wire jewelry. She loves when people connect with her arts and enjoys taking in the lessons art has for her as she explores new techniques and mediums. |
